Webb Institute

I am currently enrolled at Webb Institute - a rigorous college that I am studying to receive two degrees from: Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. I have since consistently been on the Dean's List, studied abroad at Southampton University in England, and represent the student body as the Education Chair to be the bridge with the members of the board. Enrolling at Webb has brought me substantial growth on all fronts, which is what has led to the vast rewards that have come from it.

For my senior year I am dual enrolled in the first year of an Engineering Associate Degree program including commonwealth honors, it is a rigorous program that emphasizes mathematics and sciences and prepares students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Enrolling at QCC has enabled me to increase the depth and breadth of my academic courses. My classes are all at QCC, however I do continue to use the shop at BVT high school, and for the art and robotics clubs.

Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School

Half of my time across freshman to junior year was spent in the Electronics and Engineering Technology shop, and half academics. In shop we work on longer term projects in self-managed teams. In sophmore year we simulated, designed, and built a multi-meter from scratch, including PCB layout and 3D printed case, in the junior year we similarly designed and built a 5 watt audio amplifier which also included PCB layout and 3D printed case.

When I total the hours spent at MIT, most from the Beaver Works Summer Academy programs, they count up to more than a semester of high school so I consider it part of my high school education particularly given the level of rigour. This includes being selected for Assistive Technology, Serious Games and AI, Independent PiPACT Research on full-time 4-week courses; advanced math, aerospace, and astrophysics on weekend courses; product development, 3D CAD, Python, and Serious Game Design remote learning during Spring semesters.
Brigham Young University Independent Study – Online High School

Brigham Young University Online high school courses of Physics, French, and Japanese. BVT offers Spanish language only, and so I decided to begin learning Japanese because I was interested in Japanese culture, and transitioned to French to build on my middle school studies. I took physics to better prepare me for more advanced classes and to support my Engineering shop.
