Science fairs are a great way to develop a range of skills - learning how to apply the scientific process, engineering process, communication and presentation skills. These are all achieved while working on a project of your choice.

Many middle schools offer science fairs, enabling you to become familiar with the process before moving to high school. Once at high school there are great opportunities to compete beyond high school to regional, state, and even international science and engineering fairs.
